A few weeks ago I told you about a new cloud storage site. It is called Copy.com my current favorite online file storage site (sign up at bit.ly/roncopy for an additional 5 GB of storage). Over a year ago I told you about Dropbox.com which is another excellent cloud storage site.
You may also use Google Drive, OneDrive (by Microsoft) and/or others. They are all good and each has its advertised, "better than the other one" features. You can store pictures, music, documents and most any other type of files on these sites.
However, what if you are like me and have several of these cloud storage sites that you use regularly? Do you spend time going back and forth from one to the other looking for a specific file? Do you create a document using Google Docs and then decide you want to save it in Dropbox for some reason?
I feel that it is a hassle and a bit of a time waster to jump back and forth between services while working. If you agree, I have a suggestion for you, use MultCloud.com. Notice if you type the URL to go to the site there is no, "i" in it. It is not multi cloud, but mult cloud. I have made the mistake myself several times.
Once you set up an account with MultCloud using your email address and a difficult password you are almost done. Then while on the site select the cloud storage site that you have used in the past. You will then be asked to log into that site and agree to let MultCloud sync with it.
That is your first cloud service now available from within MultCloud. Repeat those previous steps for your next cloud service. Keep going until you have all of your cloud storage services connected to MultCloud. Once you are done you will have all of your cloud storage located in one place.
It will list each of your cloud storage "containers" in the left side and you can click on the one you want, copy a file then click on the service you was to put it in. Then just past it and you are done.
I know that I am different than most of you as I have six or eight services that I use. Remember, I write about all of these sites and have to test them before I know if they are good for you or not. However, by using MultCloud it makes cloud storage much easier and more convenient to use.
Give it a try and as always shoot me an email and let me know how you like it if you use multiple cloud storage services too.
