As always, Jim and I had a good time this month and hope you do too! The podcast is here for your listening pleasure or laughs.

Today we started out talking about personal Facebook issues we have.  I mentioned that I will be teaching a class in the next month or so about Facebook pitfalls, safety and “how tos”. So sign up at DoubleClicksLive.com to make sure you get the email when it finally rolls out. At this point in time, all classes are two hours plus long and $40. If you want to sign up do so quickly as I have been told that I am charging way too little for all you get from the sessions.

Speaking of that site, there are two “Double Clicks” sites.

There is DoubleClicks.info which is where you are now. This has most of the columns I have written since January of 2002.

The other is relatively new at DoubleClicksLive.com where I will give you information on training sessions as I mentioned above. Please go to this site and register as that is the easiest way to be notified when I am having a new session for you. I promise to not sell or give anyone else your information. You name and email address is all I ask for and I will only use it to communicate with you about offerings I will make for you.

Things Jim and I Talked About Today

Facebook could be undone by the new kid on the block (don’t worry not right away), MeWe.com. Very no advertising, very little if any politics and no fighting…how?  Check them out, try them and join me and the very few in number…so far.

Application Updaters

Your Operating System, Windows 10, updates itself automatically by default. However, for security of your computer you should also keep your applications updated. Some applications will let you know when you start them that they need updating but most do not.

I use PatchMyPC (patchmypc.net) updater.

Second one if you want to catch a few more application updates.
FileHippo App Manager ) updater.

That is all for September. I hope to see you back here in October!
